The Modine HER Series Electric Unit Heater is a heavy duty, fan forced unit heater, with horizontal air delivery. It is recommended for commercial and industrial buildings with low ceilings such as factories, garages, and stores.

  • 480 Volt, 3 Phase, 25 KW
  • Heavy gauge steel housing with a gray-green powder coated finish.
  • Two threaded mounting holes (3/8 – 16 N.C. TAP) for threaded rod suspension.
  • The fan and motor are exposed and can be removed without lowering the unit.
  • The propeller fan is directly connected to the motor and is statically balanced.
  • Bottom of housing has a hinged access panel for easy service access to wiring.
  • Spiral finned metal sheathed tubular heating elements provides even air distribution and highly efficient heat transfer.
  • High temperature automatic reset control interrupts the power supply to the heating elements in the event of overheating. The control resets when the heating element returns to a safe temperature.
  • Completely enclosed fan motor, continuous duty, with automatic reset thermal overload protection, and rated 208-230V/60Hz/1Ph.
  • Horizontal adjustable discharge louvers to control air flow.
  • All 480/600 Volt HER units have a built-in transformer.
  • 208-240 Volt, Line Voltage Control is standard. (Optional low voltage control is available: Use Modine Low Voltage Control Kit# MODINE78630 3H32585A1 25V Low Voltage Thermostat).
