When selecting a warm tiles electric floor warming kit, the first step is to determine the square foot of the room. Next, determine the length of heating cable required by using the product selection guide that can be found in the Product Sales Bulletin. Note, use the standard Warm Tiles cable spacing (3" on center) for rooms that are located above heated areas. Use the alternate Warm Tiles cable spacing of 3"/1.5"/3"/1.5" etc. for rooms located above unheated areas, rooms with a concrete slab (basements), or in high heat loss areas.
