Features of D1P-24-20 Avatar Instruments Power Controller

The Avatar Instruments D1P-24-20 is a proportional, infinitely variable power controller capable of delivering 1-98% of the applied line voltage to directly connected electric heaters. This is accomplished by phase angle firing a TRIAC. NOTE: The D1P WILL NOT control heaters with high inrush current such as quartz lamps (tungsten lamps), transformers or motors. The controller is to be used only in industrial and commercial applications and must be Installed in a grounded enclosure by a Qualified Electrician. Please note that I2T fusing is required and is NOT INCLUDED with the unit.

Provide a Safety Interlock on Door to Remove Power Before Gaining Access to Device and Include a Proper Fuse. The Potentiometer is NOT Isolated; the terminals are at Line Voltage.
